Action concerning the NTSB report
Actions and letters are on their way to DC already in response to the NTSB report, one would hope several would hit each office in DC.
Following is a letter from Rick in 3A regarding the xxxx from the NTSB. It's a nice example of what everyone should be writing.
Please send them out to Feingold, Kohl and your U.S. Congressional Rep.

Subject: NTSB Recommendations
Senator;
I am writing today to express my opposition to the NTSB safety recommendations. Accident prevention saves lives not Federal mandates. Greater penalties for right of way violations and stricter laws for inattentive driving would help more. The best way to avoid injury in an accident is to not have that accident. Motorists need to pay greater attention the action of driving. Being behind a wheel of an automobile is NO time to multi task. Please oppose any legislation or mandate that comes before you that would require the use of a helmet for motorcycling.
